Andrea is a yoga teacher, MD native (current Queens resident), and Sagittarius sun (Leo rising, Libra moon). She's been practicing yoga since 2011 and teaching since completing her 200hr with Yogaworks in 2016. She teaches Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Prenatal, Postnatal, and Yoga Nidra. She's a nerd for sequencing and alignment, creating accessible and inclusive classes that allow students to explore all levels of ability in unison with breath. She gives you the tools, variations, and guidance you need to build and curate your practice.
Srutha completed her 200 HR Vinyasa training in 2025 and her Yin certification at The Corner in 2026. She grew up practicing Kuchipudi dance, and the grace and intentionality of that art form shaped how she understands movement and breath long before she ever stepped on a yoga mat. She found yoga at a time when she needed to learn to slow down and that's exactly the kind of space she wants to create for you. Meet yourself where you are and connect with your breath, not only where you think you should be.
She's a lifelong learner who loves tying modern practice back to yoga's roots, and she believes the people in the room always have something to teach her too. Her playlists range from classical beats to EDM, it depends on the day and honestly, the vibe she woke up with.
Outside of the mat, Srutha works in women's health, loves to travel, is always stumbling into a random new hobby, and will never say no to a good bakery or a new corner of the city to explore.

Katie is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to New York City to study dance at Marymount Manhattan College. While in school, she quickly discovered that yoga could teach her patience, how to observe the present moment without judgment, and how to practice becoming comfortable in the uncomfortable, physically and mentally. She loves anatomy and exploring the mind/body connection, and she hopes to help others discover how yoga can uniquely help them, too!
Austin Monson (he/they) grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas, where his first exposure to movement came from tagging along to his mom’s Step-Aerobics classes at the YMCA in the late ’90s. He spent years immersed in endurance sports, racing triathlons and managing a bike shop, where he specialized in precision fits and mechanical builds.
Austin began studying meditation and world religions in 2006, discovered yoga in 2015, and completed his 200-hour teacher training at The Corner in 2025. His classes emphasize breath-led sequencing, functional alignment, and deep fascia release. Drawing from the natural world, he blends grounded, playful language with curated soundscapes of ambient jazz and atmospheric textures. Austin seeks for his teaching to help students still the mind, ground the body, and hear their own intuition more clearly.
Off the mat, he builds bicycles and plays bass guitar in bands around Brooklyn, runs Operations for an NYC Tech Startup, and lives in Brooklyn with his husband, Tyler.
Remy has been teaching since the spring of 2019 when they got their 200hr vinyasa certification. Their priority is always accessibility and hope to hold space for students to explore a mind-body connection at their own pace and volition.

She focuses on guiding students to listen to their bodies, and find balance, clarity, and inspiration both on and off the mat. Her sequences provide a structure for exploration and growth for any students that are willing to come to their mat.
Stevie is proud to call The Corner their second home. After a physical history of soccer, biking, and generally pushing themselves in all the ways, being given permission to stretch and release was a revelation. For Stevie, practice is a time to unplug, quiet the mind, enjoy the breath, and move. They will bring the same love and space to your practice. They’re especially excited to curate playlists so we can be playful in the moment together - with all the feel good vibes!
Off the mat, Stevie loves to dance, read, be outside, and eat croissants. Stevie is a Taurus sun, Libra moon, Virgo rising from Alaska. They live in Bed Stuy with their cat, Toaster.

Jamie Margulies moved to Williamsburg in July 2021 on a whim, and a new chapter began. While Jamie has always been guided by her curiosities, a year into NYC her body screamed “it’s now my turn to lead and you can’t pretend this isn’t happening.” Jamie found Yoga as her main source for strength, healing and reconnection to the body. She deepened her practice through a 200 Hour Teacher Training Certification at The Corner Yoga and now nerds out on fascia and how the breath is used as a tool. Her classes focus on being curious with where your body is in this moment, using breath as your main guide and exploring sensation vs. self judgement.
Outside of Yoga, Jamie is a passionate music nerd, an avid traveler and loves learning the depths of people’s passions.

Alexis' connection to yoga and dance runs deep. She cares for her students by holding space for breath, ease, and release to help them move through what's brought them to their mat. Expect to move through thoughtfully structured and expansive sequences that remind folks of their power and grace. Her philosophy allows the body to get quiet enough so it can tell us what it needs and uses yoga to connect, mend and inspire her community.
In Millie's yoga practice and teaching they focus on bringing a narrative of intuitive listening, compassion, and gratitude into physical awareness. Millie teaches through a trauma informed lense, finding the moments of pause as moments to ground. A practice of where to go when life takes us flying.
